This is the East-West Highway project in Algeria (Construction de I’Autoroute Est/Ouest du lot Unique Est at Algeria). CMVietnam (now CMH Group) has signed a contract with a partner, the Japanese contractor consortium COJAAL (Consortium Japonais Pour I’Autoroute Algerienne) to construct two double tunnels with a total length of about 4.6 km in the bidding package. 4.2.2. CMVietnam also provided more than 500 highly skilled officers, engineers and laborers for the project, starting from September 2007.
