This is the third project signed between CMVietnam (now CMH Group) and Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited – Vinacomin, following Khe Cham III and Red Mud Lake project.
Nong Son thermoelectric plant whose Employer is Nong Son Coal – ElectricityJoint Stock Company has capacity of 30 MW, consumes 110,000 tons of coal per year with total investment capital of VND 674 billion. The electricity generated is expected to transmit to Dai Loc 110KV electrical grid. This project has a great significance in economic and social development for Que Son district, Quang Nam province. It not only provides additional electricity in dry season for Central Vietnam but also creates jobs for a large numbers of workers in local area.
