On 08th July 2017, in Vientiane Capital, Laos, together CMVietnam (now CMH Group) and Hazama Ando cooperation has officially sign in the Contract of construction for the expansion Nam Ngum 1 hydropower project, Laos.
In the mentioned Contract above, CMVietnam shall execute the excavation works and concrete work in Power house, Intake gate, surge tank shall be starting in 07/2017.
Assessment on the signed contract and the potential opportunities of cooperation between Hazama Ando and CMVietnam, General Director Kim Ngoc Nhan said: “This construction contract is similar to the contract CMVietnam has executed and executing such as: Xayaburi Hydropower Project – Ch.Karnchang (Thailand); Xe Pian Xe Namnoy Hydropower Project -SK E&C (Korea) are all the strength of CMVietnam. We strongly believe that CMVietnam shall perform the project adhesively with progress and safety.
Hazama Ando is a big-longest Construction corporation in Japan since 1873, until now Hazama Ando appear in most of Continents with various project. This is the first time CMVietnam has the chance to team up with Hazama Ando in a construction project, but, the second time to cooperating with a Japan partner, after COJAAL (Algeria East West Expressway from 2007 to 2013). CMVietnam believe that we shall be the partner of Hazama Ando to pursue, and cooperate in various construction project such as hydropower, airport and other infrastructure project.
