The Ea Trang 1 Road Tunnel (part of the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project) is invested in by Project Management Board No. 6 (currently the Railway Project Management Board) under the Ministry of Construction, acting as the Project investor. CMH Group has been participating in the Project as the Contractor responsible for the construction of the approach roads, tunnel portals, the forecourt area, and the eastern section of the tunnel located in Krong A Commune, Dak Lak Province. The construction commenced in July 2024 and is scheduled for completion in 2026.
The excavation, reinforcement, and concrete lining works of the tunnel were completed by CMH Group in May 2025. After addressing the impacts caused by heavy rainfall and flooding, CMH Group has completed the asphalt concrete paving for both tunnel bores.
The completion of this item contributes to moving the Ea Trang 1 Tunnel Project into its final finishing stage. Once put into operation, the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot route will shorten travel time and enhance traffic safety.
